After his last two disappoiting seasons in Milan’s shirt, Georgian defender Kaladze finally moved to another club that can assure him a key-role in the team. “Kakha” moved to Genoa and signed a two-year deal, but the transfer fee is undisclosed. He transferred to Milan in 2001 and played 194 times since then, scoring 12 times in the process. He won two Champions League trophies, one Scudetto, one Italian Cup, one Italian Supercup, one European Supercup and a FIFA World Club Cup.
Last season he was deemed surplus to requirements in Leonardo’s squad, but still got some playing minutes because of Nesta who was most of the season injured, and because of the bad form of Favalli. The Georgian defender played 70 times for his National Team and scored one goal.
