Aquilani and Krasic to Juventus

Italian giant Juventus made a great end of the week on the transfer market. Upon signing Alberto Aquilani for a season long loan move from Liverpool, they’ve also officialized the move of Serbian winger Milos Krasic from CSKA Moscow. Now coach Luigi Del Neri will only have to seek signing a center back, because he declared he needs reinforcements in that area.

While Milos Krasic already signed a four-year deal with The Old Lady, 26 years old Alberto Aquilani will fly to Turin on Monday and will put his signature on the loan deal. Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson declared Aquilani might not be a first team player for The Cormorans. He was also left in the cold when Liverpool played against Trabzonspor, so he is not cup-tied and can play for Juventus in Europe League.

Alberto Aquilani moved to Liverpool last summer, but was pretty much a flop during his season in Premier League. He couldn’t prove himself because of many injuries he had and former AS Roma player decided to head back to his home country to get competitive football. He played 11 times for the Italian NT since 2006 and scored two times in the process, but missed the squad for the 2010 World Cup.

Milos Krasic, winger who was capped 35 times for Serbia was tipped to switch clubs this summer, with Juventus seeking a wide midfielder for their 4-4-2. After another summer long transfer talk, Juventus signed him for 15 million euros, which will be paid in installments until June 2012. With Aquilani and Krasic set to produce good midfield displays, it remains to be seen if Del Neri will also sign the so-much-wanted defender.

    And Milan must buy Honda!

In my opinion, I doubt Milan will sign anyone else this summer. Maybe Ibrahimovic, but it’s going to be difficult. Otherwise, what we’ve seen last afternoon against Juventus + Nesta and Pato will be the complete squad for this season.

It’s too late to speak now, but I would’ve loved to see Keisuke Honda join a great team. I’m not sure he’s quite that ready for that, though. He could come to Juve anytime xD I never did understand why Diego left, and Honda would make a pretty good substitute. IF he could get along with Melo.
